Gardner Steps Down As Operations EVP At Maguire Properties

June 29, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Maguire Properties, Inc. (NYSE: MPG), a real estate investment trust, TODAY said that Douglas J. Gardner, Maguire’s executive vice president of operations, has resigned from his role as an officer of the company. Gardner’s responsibilities will be assumed by members of Maguire’s senior management team.

According to a statement from Maguire, Gardner will serve as an advisor for a six month period and will consult with the company primarily on its operational related activities.

Peggy Moretti, Maguire’s SVP of investor and public relations, will assume the new title of chief administrative officer. Also, Adeel Khan has been named VP and controller, and Ed Tan will be VP of marketing.

Los Angeles-based Maguire Properties is an owner and operator of class “A” office properties in the Los Angeles central business district and is primarily focused on owning and operating high-quality office properties in the Southern California market.
