December 8, 2009 (FinancialWire) — China Fire & Security Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: CFSG), a provider of industrial fire protection systems in China, said its board has named Gangjin Li, the company's founder and chairman, to resume his former role as China Fire's chief executive officer.
Brian Lin, the company's current CEO, has assumed the newly created position of chief financial officer. Weishe Zhang, the company's current chief technology officer, has been appointed vice president responsible for strategic planning and management of marketing, technology and product development.
The company said the move were made to help meet China Fire's projected rapid organic growth for the next three years and address its strategic goal of effectively consolidating the domestic fire protection industry.
Weigang Li continues his role as a VP of the company and general manager of its Sureland Industrial Fire Safety unit, responsible for the company's sales and Sureland's operation management. Beijing-based China Fire is engaged primarily in the design, manufacture, sales and maintenance services of a product portfolio including detectors, controllers, and fire extinguishers.
