January 28, 2010 (FinancialWire) — Nocopi Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: NNUP) has named W. Ward Carey to its board of directors. Carey held various management positions on Wall Street over a 45 year career, most significantly chairman and chief executive officer of Tucker Anthony.

Casey sold Tucker Anthony to John Hancock in 1981.

Pennsylvania-based Nocopi Technologies is in the business of developing solutions against counterfeiting, product diversion, document security and authentication via patented technologies.
